🚀 WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS & REVISIONS POLICY
To ensure a structured, efficient, and professional workflow, the following outlines how projects are executed at Geeks 5G Marketing.
📑 PROJECT AGREEMENTS
To maintain clarity and protect both parties, two agreements are signed during the project lifecycle:
- Agreement #1 – Project Scope & Process Agreement:
Signed before production begins. This defines scope, pricing, timeline, revision policy, and responsibilities. - Agreement #2 – Website Launch Approval:
Signed prior to launch. This confirms final approval, ownership transfer, and post-launch billing policy.
Work begins only after Agreement #1 is signed and payment is received.
The website goes live only after Agreement #2 is signed.
📋 STEP 1: INTAKE FORM & ASSET SUBMISSION
Project production begins only after:
- The intake form is completed in full
- All required assets are submitted (logo, images, content if available, brand materials)
- Required access credentials are provided
The intake form defines the official project scope. Any services, pages, or functionality not listed may require a revised quote if added later.
Delays in submitting materials may affect scheduling and turnaround times.
🗺️ STEP 2: SITEMAP & HOMEPAGE DESIGN
We first develop:
- Website structure (sitemap)
- Homepage design concept
Homepage approval confirms the overall visual direction, layout structure, and design system for the entire website.
Major design direction changes after homepage approval may be considered outside the original scope.
🛠️ STEP 3: FULL WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
After homepage approval, we proceed with:
- Remaining page builds
- Form setup
- Approved integrations
- Mobile responsiveness
- Structural implementation
All development follows the approved design direction and defined scope.
🔁 STEP 4: TWO-WEEK UNLIMITED REVISIONS
Each project includes a two (2) week unlimited revisions window.
- The revision period begins once the draft website is delivered for review
- Revisions must fall within the approved scope and design direction
- Feedback must be submitted in organized batches
Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional billing .
After the two-week period concludes, additional revisions are billable at standard hourly rates .
✍️ STEP 5: CONTENT FINALIZATION
If copywriting is included, content is finalized after design approval.
Content revisions must be submitted after all pages are populated. We recommend consolidating feedback into one organized list per revision round.
🚀 POST-LAUNCH POLICY
Upon final approval and launch:
- The website is considered approved in its delivered state
- Minor agency-side errors (typos, broken links, minor responsiveness issues) will be corrected within fourteen (14) days of launch
- All other updates or changes are billable
🔐 OWNERSHIP & CREDENTIALS
Upon full payment and launch approval:
- Client becomes the 100% owner of the website
- Applicable login credentials are released or transferred
⏳ PROJECT DELAYS & ABANDONMENT
Projects may be paused if:
- Required materials are not submitted
- Communication lapses
- Feedback is repeatedly delayed
If there is no response for sixty (60) days, the project may be considered abandoned. Payments made are non-refundable.
🛡️ MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY
Websites require ongoing maintenance for security, updates, backups, and performance.
Unless covered under a separate maintenance agreement, ongoing maintenance, hosting, updates, and technical support are the Client’s responsibility.
Geeks 5G Marketing is not responsible for issues caused by:
- Lack of maintenance
- Hosting or domain provider issues
- Plugin or WordPress updates
- Third-party integrations
- Modifications made by the Client or third parties
📌 POLICY UPDATES
Geeks 5G Marketing reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The latest version will always be reflected on our website.
